Adam McQuaid (born October 12, 1986 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) is an NHL ice hockey defenceman that currently plays for the Boston Bruins. McQuaid played hockey in the OHL for 4 seasons with the Sudbury Wolves. He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets with the 55th overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft but never played a game with them and was traded to the Bruins for a fifth-round pick. He won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins on June 15, 2011 when the Bruins defeated the Vancouver Canucks in game 7 by a score of 4-0.
