Akademio de Esperanto (Academy of Esperanto, shortly AdE) is an independent organisation, which is guarding the development of the constructed language Esperanto. They do this to keep it consistent with the basic rules. These basic rules came from eye doctor L. L. Zamenhof. He was the creator of Esperanto. He also came up with the idea to establish an organization for guarding the development of the language. This was during the First World Congress of Esperanto in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France in 1905.[1]
