Alan Donald Whicker (4 August 1921 – 12 July 2013[2][3]) was a British journalist and television presenter. He was born to British parents in Cairo, Egypt. At age three he moved to Richmond, Surrey. He presented Whicker's World for 29 years. He died of bronchopneumonia at his home in Jersey, Channel Islands.[1]
