Andrea Mitchell (born October 30, 1946)[1] is an American journalist, news reporter and anchor for NBC News. She is the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent. She anchors Andrea Mitchell Reports on the MSNBC Network. She guest hosts Meet the Press and Hardball with Chris Matthews.[2]Mitchell was raised in a Jewish family.[3]

Mitchell was born in New Rochelle, New York.
