Barbara Prammer (born 11 January 1954 in Ottnang am Hausruck) is an Austrian politician. She is in the Social Democratic Party of Austria. She has been the President of the National Council of Austria since 30 October 2006. She was its Vice President from 2004 to 2006. Prammer was Federal Minister for Women Affairs and Consumer Protection from 1997 to 2000. She was elected to the National Council in 1999.

She has two children.
