Baucau is a city in East Timor (Timor Leste). It is 129 km (80 mi) east of the capital, Dili.[1] About 16,000 people live there. That makes it the second biggest town in East Timor.[1] It is served by the Cakung Airport. The town was first started by Portugal as a trading centre.
