The Beatitudes (from Latin beatus, meaning "blessed" or "happy"[1]) are a list of traits that Christians should follow told by Gospel of Matthew and Gospel of Luke. Some of these include humbleness, meekness, making peace and other important lessons to follow. Jesus Christ taught these ideas to think and act according to, as 'The first Lesson' in a three lesson sermon called 'The sermon on The Mount'.
