Brian Connelly (born June 10, 1986 in Bloomington, Minnesota) is a professional ice hockey defenceman that currently plays for the Abbotsford Heat which are the AHL farm team of the Calgary Flames of the NHL. He played hockey collegically for the Colorado College Tigers for 3 seasons. Connelly also played 3 seasons with the Rockford IceHogs before he was traded to the Calgary Flames by the Blackhawks in exchange for Brendan Morrison on January 27, 2012[1].
