Brian Elliott (born April 9, 1985 in Newmarket, Ontario) is a professional Canadian ice hockey goaltender that currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators with the 291st overall pick in the 2003 NHL Draft and played 3 seasons with them before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche on February 18, 2011 for Craig Anderson.
