From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

British hip hop (also British rap) is a genre of music.[1] The style happens across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. British rap music was officially observed from the 1980s-afterward, though it might have begun far earlier. Among UK rap artists who moved to the United States at young ages are Slick Rick and Young MC (aka Marvin Young).
