Brooklyn, Connecticut

Brooklyn is a town in Windham County, Connecticut. The population was 7,173 at the 2000 census. East Brooklyn is listed as a census-designated place and is located on the east side of Brooklyn. The town was founded in 1786 and is known for being one of Windham's "fastest growing towns".
