Buchenwald concentration camp

Buchenwald was a concentration camp in Weimar, Germany.
It was created in July 1937 and was liberated (freed) on April 11, 1945. The camp was used by the Nazis in World War II. The remains of Buchenwald are a memorial as well as a exhibition and museum. The total death toll at Buchenwald is estimated at around 56,545.[1]
