Butler University
Butler University is a private, co-educational university in Indianapolis, Indiana. The university has about 4,512 students. It was founded in 1855. The current president of the university is Bobby Fong.
Sports[change]
The athletics teams of the university are called the Bulldogs. They have 17 varsity teams, most of which compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference (A10). Since the A10 does not sponsor football, Butler plays that sport in the Pioneer Football League (PFL). The Butler women's golf team plays in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, as the A10 only sponsors golf as a men's sport.
