Colchane

Commune of Colchane in the Region of Tarapacá.
Colchane (Aymara: from qullchanni, existence of pasturage) is a city in Chile in the province of Tamarugal, region of Tarapacá.
It has 1,700 inhabitants and an area of 4,015 km2. It was originally founded as Los Cóndores in September 8, 1970.
