A collegium musicum (plural: collegia musica) is a group of music lovers and musicians. They come together to perform music. There were many collegia musica in 18th-century Germany. They were often not employed by churches or noblemen.

Georg Philipp Telemann created a collegium musicum in Leipzig. Johann Sebastian Bach would later become the leader of this collegium.
