David R. Ellis

David Richard Ellis (September 8, 1952 – January 7, 2013) was an American child actor, movie director, and stuntman. He is known for directing Snakes on a Plane, Final Destination, Cellular, and Shark Night.

Ellis was born on September 8, 1952 in Santa Monica, California. He was raised in Los Angeles, California. Ellis was the brother of Annie Ellis. He had a son, Twany Ellis. Ellis died aged 60 in his hotel room on January 7, 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the end of his life he was directing Kite.[1]
