Die Welt is a German newspaper.
Die Welt was founded in 1946. The founder was the British Military Government in Germany. In the 1950's the Axel Springer Verlag bought the newspaper.
Die Welt is a daily newspaper. It is conservative and market-liberal. Actually it has an circulation of about 210,000 newspapers a day.
