Die Welt is a daily German newspaper. It is conservative and market-liberal. It has an circulation of about 210,000 newspapers a day.

Die Welt was founded in 1946. The founder was the British Military Government in Germany. In the 1950's the Axel Springer Verlag bought the newspaper.
