East Asia or Eastern Asia is a subregion of Asia that covers about 6,640,000 km², or 15% of the Asian continent.
The following countries are located in East Asia:
- People's Republic of China (including Hong Kong and Macau)
- North Korea
- South Korea
- Japan
- Mongolia
- Republic of China (Taiwan)
