Farsi1 is a Persian language satellite television channel. It was created in 2009. The channel is broadcast into Iran from Hong Kong by a company co-owned by Rupert Murdoch. Since the channel's creation, Farsi1 has become the most popular TV channel in Iran.[1] The channel broadcasts TV series from Korea, Latin America and the United States. Its most popular series tend to be Colombian telenovelas.[1]
