English: With... Little Miss Dynamite From the archive... me (an 18-year-old reporter) trying to be terribly nonchalant with 1960s mega-star Brenda Lee at the Sutton Granada on 8 April 1962. Brenda Lee was hugely popular in the 1960s, and particularly so in the UK, where she toured frequently. Her hits included Let's Jump the Broomstick, Speak To Me Pretty, Here Comes That Feeling, and her two biggies - I'm Sorry and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (which to this day, is still played worldwide in December). Just 4ft 9ins in height, she was known as 'Little Miss Dynamite' - a nickname which totally matched her performances.
