Description
Français : Salle de billard dans le Château de Malmaison à Rueil-Malmaison en France. Située au rez-de-chaussée du Château, cette salle était affectée au jeu de billard depuis 1703. Le décor actuel est conçu par Louis-Martin Berthault en 1812 et remeublée sobrement comme à l'époque de Joséphine de Beauharnais. - Sol carrelé de marbre. Table de billard avec son luminaire. Au fond une de deux consoles en demi-lune, de bois doré et ornés d'une frise, avec dessus en marbre veiné, console surmonté d'un miroir. Pliants en X.
English: Billiard room in the Câteau de Malmaison in Rueil-Malmaison, France. Situated at the ground floor of the Château, this room was allocated to the billiard game since 1703. The current decoration is designed by Louis-Martin Berthault in 1812, with the sober furniture as at the time of Joséphine de Beauharnais.
