Description
English: This is a photorealistic computer-generated (CG) image created by myself (Gilles Tran) using POV-Ray 3.6 (Persistence of Vision Ray-tracer) in order to demonstrate POV-Ray's rendering abilities.

The glasses, ashtray and pitcher were modeled with Rhino and the dice with Cinema 4D. The POV-Ray code for this image is available here (zip file, 6 Mb).

The code is also released into the Public Domain. See also larger Image:Glasses 800 edit.png, which is a featured picture on English Wikipedia.
Italiano: Questa è una qualità fotografica immagine (CG) generati dal computer creato da me (Gilles Tran) usando POV-Ray 3.6 (Persistence of Vision Ray-tracer) al fine di dimostrare la capacità di rendering di POV-Ray. Gli occhiali, posacenere e brocca erano modellati con Rhino e i dadi con Cinema 4D.
