Description
English: Drawing of a pilgrim badge found in the Seine river, under the "Pont-au-Change" bridge (Paris, France), in 1855. The badge bears a representation of the Shroud of Lirey (Shroud of Turin), the arms of Charny and those of Vergy. The badge is in the Musée National du Moyen Âge, Thermes de Cluny, Paris.
Français : Dessin d'une enseigne de pèlerinage retrouvée dans la Seine en 1855, près du Pont-au-Change (Paris, France). Cette enseigne représente le suaire de Lirey (Suaire de Turin), ainsi que les blasons des familles de Charny et de Vergy. Cet artefact est maintenant conservé à Paris, au Musée national du Moyen Âge, Thermes de Cluny.
