Fushūgaku

Fushūgaku (Japanese: 不就学) is a term used in Japan which means "not attending school". This term is used mainly with Brazilian Japanese children.

There are various reasons as to why children do not attend school in Japan. One reason is that they cannot understand Japanese. Another reason is that their parents cannot afford school fees for them to go to school.
