George Meade

George Meade was a general in the Union Army of the American Civil War. He led the Union Army of the Potomac from the Battle of Gettysburg to the end of the Civil War. He also fought in the Second Seminole War and the Mexican-American War. Meade was born in Cadiz, Spain.
