Gerald Nicholas McAllister

The Right Reverend Gerald Nicholas McAllister (February 16, 1923 — June 10, 2014) was third bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma (1977-1989).[1] He married Helen Earle Black. He was ordained to the diaconate on September 30, 1953. He was ordained to the priesthood on September 24, 1954. He was known for performing the wedding of Lyndon B. Johnson's daughter, Lyndia Bird Johnson at the White House. He was born in San Antonio, Texas.

McAllister died in San Antonio, Texas, aged 91.[2]
