Ginga (satellite)

Ginga (ぎんが) is the name of a Japanese artificial satellite which was put into orbit.
The launch was a project of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of the University of Tokyo.
The satellite was sent into orbit on February 5, 1987.[1]
