Glasgow Subway

The Glasgow Subway is a subway system serving Glasgow, Scotland, UK. It started in 1896. Then it was run by cables. There are 15 stations. in 1935 it was changed to run on electricity. It is a circular system, and has stayed the same since it started. It carries 13 million passengers each year.

Now it is run by the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.[1]
