Goychay (Göyçay) is a rayon of Azerbaijan. It is in the central part of the county.[2] The capital is Goychay. There is one city and 55 villages. The region is famous for its pomegranate growing industry.
Goychay rayon is in the Shirvan valley. It is at the footsteps of Greater Caucasus mountain range.
