Grace Lee Whitney (born Mary Ann Chase; April 1, 1930 - May 1, 2015) was an American actress and entertainer. She was best known as Janice Rand on the Star Trek television series.[2]
Whitney died at her home in Coarsegold, California on May 1, 2015 from natural causes, aged 85.[1]
