Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is an American television series. It is a story about surgical doctors in Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital (previously Seattle Grace Hospital).^[1] It was created by Shonda Rhimes. It is on ABC from March 2005.^[2]

This successful TV series is about hardworking doctors at the hospital, looking to heal multiple patients and practicing surgeries, depending on the case, and every case have his difficulties and problems. Through this agitated life, they develop friendships and even sometimes love.

“Grey’s Anatomy” American television series created by Shonda Rhimes. The American show has mainly been filmed in Los Angeles, California and has been presented by the popular television producer ABC (American Broadcasting Company). This series has had an incredible success and are adored by the public, including 9 seasons. It started on the March 27th, 2005.. The TV show won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for the best dramatic TV series and it also has been awarded two nominations at the Emmy Awards for the same reason. In 2006, this dramatic medical comedy was produced in many languages and many countries, like Belgium, France and Switzerland.

Grey’s Anatomy earned its name through Henry Gray’s novel written in 1858, which has been reached it’s 40th edition in 2008. The title of the novel is “Henry Gray’s Anatomy of the Human Body” and it’s a book containing multiple surgical applications as much scientific as morphologic and is considered a medicinal classic of the human anatomy.
