Halloween 9

Halloween 9 was set to be the ninth movie in the Halloween movie series in the mid-2000s and a sequel to either Halloween: Resurrection or Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers, which at the time was entitled Halloween: Retribution. Rob Zombie, director of the remake and its sequel, was attached to this project as director.

Cancellation

The movie was cancelled due to the death of Moustapha Akkad, the executive producer of the series. It's unknown whether there will be a Halloween 9. Rob Zombie himself said, "the original Halloween motion picture saga is dead."
