The name Hannah [ han-uh ][1] (or Hanna) is a feminine given name. In Hebrew, it means "gracious".[2] As Hannah, this name was used by the Puritans in the 16th and 17th centuries. There are many celebrities who have the name. One fictional character with the name is Hannah Montana. Hannah is very popular for girls. As Hanna, the name is now being used on tropical storms or hurricanes over the Atlantic Basin. This name was ranked #44 on the US Popular Female Names in 2021.[3]
