Hashemite University

The Hashemite University ( الجامعة الهاشمية ) is a university in Zarqa, Jordan. It is named after the Jordanian royal family the Hashemites and was established by royal decree in 1992. There are about 18,000 students in the university [1]. The university is a public one (meaning it is owned by the state).
