Helma Sanders-Brahms (20 November 1940 – 27 May 2014) was a German movie director, screenwriter, producer and actress. She was known for directing Germany, Pale Mother.

Sanders-Brahms was born in Emden. She died in Berlin on May 27, 2014 after a long illness, aged 73.[1]
