Houston is a large city in the United States. It is in the state of Texas. It is the fourth largest city in the U.S. The mayor of Houston is Bill White. Over two million people live in Houston. It is named after Sam Houston, who fought for Texas freedom in 1836.

It is known for containing the main headquarters of NASA.
