Hypochondriasis (more well known as hypochondria) is a condition which involves excess worries about having an illness that often results from having inaccurate perceptions of the human body. People with hypochondria are often very worried about their health even though there is no real medical condition. They become unduly alarmed of even the slightest physical symptom in their very bodies and are convinced they are about to become sick or have health problems.
