I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus is an American Christmas melody with music and lyrics by Tommie Connor. The original recording by Jimmy Boyd hit #1 on the Billboard charts in December 1952. The lyrics talk of a child who creeps from the bedroom to see Mommy kissing Santa Claus underneath mistletoe. The song has been performed by various other musicians, including but not limited to the Ronettes, Jackson 5, Jessica Simpson and other singers throughout the years.
