James Lipton

James R. Lipton (born September 19, 1926) is an American writer, composer, movie, television actor and host of the television show Inside the Actors Studio.
Lipton was born on September 19, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan and studied at Central High School[1]. Lipton was married to Nina Foch from 1954 until they divorced in 1959. He has been married to Kedakai Turner since 1970.
