Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (July 17, 1796 – February 22, 1875) was a French landscape painter and printmaker in engraving. He was the main painter of the Barbizon school in France during the 19th century. He is an important person in landscape painting, and his work is of the Neo-Classical tradition.
