Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994) was an American serial killer. He murdered young males in Wisconsin and Ohio from 1978-1991. In 1992, he was convicted of 15 murders. Dahmer later confessed to 17 murders in all, dating back to his first victim in 1978. The jury rejected Dahmer's insanity defense, and he was sentenced to 15 life terms. He was killed by another inmate on the morning of November 28, 1994.[1]

Dahmer had three personality disorders: antisocial,[2] borderline and schizotypal.[3]
