Jerusalem Cinematheque

The Jerusalem Cinematheque is a cinematheque and the film archive in Jerusalem. It was first created in 1973. In 1981, it was moved to a location near the walls of the old city of Jerusalem. It is the home of the Israeli Film Archive, the national film archive of Israel. It was created in 1920. It was moved to the new building of the Jerusalem Cinematheque when the cinematheque was open in 1981.
