John A. Roche (August 12, 1844 – February 10, 1904) was an American politician who served as mayor of Chicago, Illinois (1887–1889) for the Republican Party.

Roche was born on August 12, 1844 in Utica, New York[1]. Roche died on February 10, 1904 in Chicago, Illinois from a type of poisoning, aged 59.
