John P. Finnegan (August 18, 1926 – July 29, 2012) was an American television, voice, stage, and movie actor. He was known for his roles in the comedy/mystery crime show Columbo (with Peter Falk).
He was born in New York City, New York on August 18, 1926[1]. He was married to Caroylnn Jacobs from 1992 until his death in 2012. He died on July 29, 2012 from pneumonia and old age in his home in Palm Desert, California, aged 85[2].
