John Patrick Hopkins (October 29, 1858 – October 13, 1918) was an American politician who served as mayor of Chicago, Illinois (1893–1895) for the Democratic Party.

Hopkins was born on October 29, 1858 in Buffalo, New York. He was never married. Hopkins died on October 13, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois from a flu, aged 59.
