John Pinette (/pɪˈnɛt/ pə-NET; March 23, 1964 – April 5, 2014) was an American actor and stand-up comedian. In 1999, he won the Funniest Male Stand-Up Comic title at the American Comedy Awards. He was a regular guest on The Tonight Show and The View. His movie credits included Junior (1994), The Punisher (2004) and The Last Godfather (2010). He also appeared in the final episode of Seinfeld in 1998.

Pinette was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was of French and Irish ancestry.

Pinette was found dead after having a pulmonary embolism on April 5, 2014 in his room at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was 50 years old.[1]
