Katie Holmes (born December 18, 1978) is an American actress. She was born in Toledo, Ohio. She was "Joey" on the WB network TV show Dawson's Creek. She has a daughter, Suri, with Tom Cruise (born April 2006). The couple married in November 2006. She participated in the New York Marathon in 2007.
