Konda Kavum

Kavum (Konda Kavum) is a sweet food often eaten in Sri Lanka. It may also be known as 'oil cakes'. They are made on the Sinhalese New Year's Day and on other special, traditional occasions. The main ingredients are rice flour and treacle, which are fried together.
