Koei Co., Ltd. (株式会社コーエー Kabushiki gaisha Kōē), also known as Kōei (光栄), is a Japanese video game publisher, developer, and distributor.[1]

In 2009, Koei merged with a competitor, Tecmo.[2]
The new company was named Tecmo Koei.[3]
