Krist Novoselic ( b. Krist Anthony Novoselic II May 16, 1965) is an American rock musician. He is most famous for being the bass player for the grunge band Nirvana with Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl. When Cobain died in 1994, Nirvana broke up. Grohl moved on to form the band Foo Fighters, and Novoselic has been mostly involved in politics. However, he is also currently the bassist for the American punk band Flipper. Novoselic is from Compton, California
